The BTR series features the same high capacity delivery system as our popular Blower Trucks, but there are a number of advantages to a self-contained power unit;

• Directly linking the engine and blower means more power is available to the system than can be provided through a PTO
• Off-highway fuel can be used for the power unit, resulting in lower fuel costs
• You can continue to deliver material while the trailer is moved, without wasting time engaging and disengaging the PTO’s
• A tractor can be used to move the Blower Trailer, adding versatility, since it can be used for other purposes when not needed to transport the BTR. This also represents a cost savings over a dedicated truck.

This is no ordinary blower trailer. The material feed system was engineered to yield several advantages;

• Decreased weight due to a simplified rear door system
• Because the feed system is at the front of the load hopper, the trailer can either be loaded through the top or the rear doors. This eliminates the need for a larger, more expensive loader. In addition, the unit can be blowing while simultaneously being loaded
• The trailer can be used as a standard live floor trailer when not needed for blower deliveries.

The Peterson Feeder delivers a large range of organic materials into the high volume air stream so you can install more material each day. The BTR features an innovative design that allows easy change-over to either left or right side material discharge, crucial to safe operation when operating on the roadway shoulder, and a logistic benefit to other jobs.

Lightweight aluminum construction yields increased payload capacity.

The BTR control panel features a large LCD display that provides the operator with the information needed to efficiently operate the unit. System pressure transducers and remote monitoring capability simplify set up and provide complete engine and system parameters.

Controls are internally mounted, protecting them from the elements and other hazards.

The Peterson Remote Control is easy to use with intuitive functions. Operators complete jobs with less training.

A High-Capacity Tri-lobe Blower provides increased airflow and production. Larger diameter hoses can be used to blow materials that could plug smaller hoses.

TopSeal™Live Floor® – Peterson’s exclusive patented Live Floor moves a wide variety of materials toward the feeder more efficiently than a conveyor. Bridging that occurs with a V-shaped hopper is eliminated. Our system does not leak like a conveyer belt, reducing clean-up time at the job.

Our powered Hose Storage Reel is mounted inside the trailer, making a clean, uncluttered exterior to the unit. Powered rotation eases hose loading and unloading, saving time and energy.

Access to the power unit, feed system, blower, and hose reel is provided through an access hatch.
